Tiered Buttercream Cake Decorating Class

Join Steph Lawshe from Sweet Little Morsels, LLC, for this hands-on class, where you’ll learn the art of achieving a flawless buttercream finish using the acrylic disk method. Steph will guide you through creating sharp edges and smooth buttercream surfaces, followed by a lesson in beginner piping techniques, perfect for adding beautiful designs and finishing touches to your cakes. Additionally, you'll learn the proper method for stacking a cake with a professional finish.

This class is ideal for cake decorators looking to elevate their skills and learn essential piping techniques, or for anyone eager to expand their cake design abilities!

What’s Included:

• All tools and materials needed to decorate your cakes will be provided for use during the class.
• Each student will take home their finished cake in a provided box.

Steph Lawshe has always loved to bake, but her passion for cake decorating didn't start until she made a wedding cake for her sister 8 years ago. It was one of her most rewarding experiences and she hasn't stopped decorating since! She enjoys sharing her skills and passion for cake decorating and loves to inspire her students to achieve new levels of creativity and expertise!

All The Details:

• Age Level: 16+
• Skill Level: Beginner to intermediate
• All supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
• We will provide a box to take your cake home in
• The class may be a little messy so we recommend bringing an apron.
• If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back.
• Price is per person. A ticket must be purchased for each individual attending the class.
• Class requires a minimum of 2 students and there is a maximum of 4 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
• Class will run approximately 3.5 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.

Cancellation Policy:

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
