Join us for a delightful tea experience in support of "Operation Relocation," hosted by The Mad Hatter. Celebrate the long-standing friendship between Zale Ticknor of the Ticknor House and Mary Woodbury, who have been friends since the 1870s. They used to row across the Rum River to visit each other. Enjoy excerpts from Mary Woodbury's diary and sample a ginger cake based on her own recipe.
Complimentary tea and light noshes will be available along with treats for purchase at the Rabbit Hole. We will also offer tea cup baskets featuring a tea towel stamped with Mary Woodbury's signature! This open house is free, so drop by between 4:30 and 6:30 PM. Donations to support our move into the Ticknor House will be accepted in cash, by check, via Venmo, or through our website, AnokaCountyHistory.org.
