Billy Blanchard is an original songwriter with a unique sound of fingerstyle/folk guitar. His songs communicate reflections and inspirations drawn from life's day-to-day moments and the larger themes of Being.
He's had the joy of creating and performing as a member of the swamp-folk trio WETLANDS and the old-me DIY trio Peg & Awl. The music is a mix of guitar, clawhammer banjo, voices and songs that are as much a part of the long tradition of folk music as they are music of today.
Billy lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is currently at work producing the HomeField Recordings podcast; a gentle meandering patchwork of songs and sounds recorded in nature and his surroundings.
--
Ben Bailey, is a Gospel and R&B inspired artist who channels warmth, leans into his soul, questions everything, and encourages his listener to do the same. Some artists that have inspired him include Stevie Wonder, Yebba, Allen Stone, Daniel Caesar, and many more. He is currently working on an album that he can't wait to share!
--
Ignited by inspiration and open to interpretation, Odd Space conjures a grungy and ethereal collage of sounds. Helmed by multi-instrumentalist Joey Frankovich, the musical project drifts from post-apocalyptic electronica to quick-drawing wild west guitar riffs. Frankovich’s honest voice lends itself to the spacious atmosphere, abundant with sonic elements that tilt and twist like a hazy kaleidoscope.
Anchored in the bustling artistic alcove of Grand Rapids, Frankovich and frequent collaborator Sydney Brown craft abstract and audible murals from scratch. Synthesizers vamp, drum beats pulse, and the pair’s voices lace together as the sonic dust swirls and settles.

In addition to our craft beer, coffee and wine selection, The Stray's kitchen will be open serving our full dinner menu until 9pm! Get here early to snag your favorite seat and grab a bite to eat before the show begins.
The Stray is a listening room style venue and cafe, where performers are front and center, not background entertainment. We frequently ask attendees to silence their phones and keep conversations low out of respect to performers and other audience members.
