Michigan native singer/songwriter Kylee Phillips is releasing her first full length album - “Before I Am Invisible” - an ambitious collection of sensual, articulate, and unpretentiously therapeutic pop anthems. This long-awaited, expertly percolated record couldn’t be more timely, giving voice to the memories, desires, rages, joys, and insights of a deeply grounded woman who has found the one place she won’t be talked over.
Kylee’s anthemic, sonically dense songs alchemize the sincerity of a midwest heart with the prowess and unabashed indulgence usually reserved for coastal voices. Here listeners find the body-cleansing catharsis of femme-pop luminaries like Muna and Maggie Rogers, intertwined with the heartstring-pulling, hands-raised surrender of a worship conference. Every track makes equal space for the tears and the pulse-pounding we didn’t realize we needed so badly.

Grace Theisen (Tyson) is a queer Americana artist from Kalamazoo, Michigan, who coined her genre as “Androgynous Americana” to celebrate queerness in all its forms. Blending Americana, folk, blues, pop, and rock with global influences, her sound moves fluidly across genres while exploring masculine and feminine energies. Her songwriting ranges from the vulnerability of coming out to the urgency of social justice, balanced by vibrant songs that center joy, connection, and resilience. Her songs “Behind the Rain” and “Wild Wild Woman” were featured on Spotify’s Home At Last playlist. Her “Master of Fire” video was a Toronto Women’s Film Festival finalist and screened at Hell’s Half Mile. She has performed at major Michigan festivals and performs with a band featuring Carolyn Koebel and Cori Somers. Her debut full-length album, Androgynous Americana, is set for release later in 2026. She is also 1/3 of The Rebel Eves.
