--
Megan Stark is a Grand Rapids based singer/songwriter. Megan released her first album last year and even had a song featured on the Q 94.5. She writes music about life wrestling with questions, doubts, fears and wants to connect with others and inspire them to keep hope in the midst of it all. She is inspired and influenced by many styles of music and songwriters such as Passenger, Paul Simon, Jon Foreman, Roo Panes and Gregory Alan Isakov. She wants to remind people that in the midst of darkness and doubt there is always light if you look for it and you’re never alone.

Rusty Vining is a singer songwriter from Grand Rapids who utilizes both imaginative storytelling and personal vulnerability along with an array of instruments and harmonic devices across Folk, Rock N’ Roll, and Americana Roots genres. The thread that weaves it all together is his unique guitar playing style accompanied by his signature soulful, gritty vocals. On his new album, “Already Not Yet,” Vining is accompanied by 2025 The Stray battle of the band winners Rusty Vining & His Friends , Employing the soaring violin of Jeffery Niemeier, the thumping upright Bass of Nathan Walker, the pounding drums of Hailey Petty, the skillful finger style Guitar of Joshua Kohns, and the energetic accordion and keyboard work of Brian Paige. The result is a multi layered, home brewed, Americana-concept album that feels like a small movie. With a run time of around 27 minutes one could easily listen to it back to back on a morning and evening commute to and from work for school.
In his latest solo effort, entitled “Memories,” Vining tackles subjects like parenthood, childhood, grief, and transition. This Four song EP leaves little time to exposition, and dives straight into the heart of the matter immediately. The texture Of the songs is reminiscent of Elliott Smith or even Springsteen’s Nebraska at times, while occasionally adding moments of unexpected sounds to refresh the listener’s ear.
For this show, he will be performing solo for the first time in about 3 years, drawing from songs across many different eras of his catalog, including some new and unreleased material.
