Situated along the seafront just a stone’s throw from Ryde’s golden sand beaches, this 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 provides a rich mix of bank holiday entertainment for both local residents & Island visitors ⛱
Held during the annual International Scooter Rally, the final edition of Ticket to Ryde this year provides the ideal opportunity to be entertained by the very best Island bands and features a massive 60’s playlist for scooter fans 🛵
Over the August Bank Holiday weekend, feel-good live music will be provided by Scooted & Booted Sound System – Reggae, Ska and 2 Tone Specialist, Hashtag, It’s Not a Phase Mom!, Emellia, Bethan John, Grace, The Sirens, Steve Love’s Island Songs and more, plus an opportunity for upcoming new local talent to take to the stage 🎶
There will be a real ale bar courtesy of Island Ales, hot food freshly cooked by Island caterers including mouth-watering loaded fries, Whitby scampi, cured and smoked sausages, meats, & cheeses, all made using locally sourced ingredients. There will also be delicious locally-produced shortbread & cheesecakes plus ice creams, candy floss and sweet nachos. Not forgetting teas, coffees, hot chocolates, fresh churros & doughnuts, all served with a smile! ☕️🍪
You can also browse a range of traditional market stalls. Why not pose for a hand-drawn caricature, have your tarot cards read or indulge in a beautifully sculpted henna tattoo? A range of children’s activities, including hair braiding and face painting will keep the little ones happy whilst the adults relax and enjoy the music. 🤹
Organised by Jack Up Events with the support of Ryde Town Council, Ticket to Ryde is an established event now in its 10th year.
The event is staged for the community to support Island charities & traders. This year our Charity of the Year is the Motor Neurone Disease Association Isle of Wight (MNDA).
With a lovely atmosphere & laid back family-friendly vibe, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a lazy bank holiday weekend! ☀️🍺
