Tic tac toe ( aka noughts and crosses )
evokes fond childhood memories for many of us. A nostalgic, simple game that we probably all remember playing.
while the traditional pen paper grids remain iconic , tic tac toe has evolved.
Come and join this class and make your own portable tic tac toe game using painted pebbles.
You can make your game really personal to you by painting your pebble playing pieces with ladybirds, bumble bees, flowers , toadstools....whatever takes your fancy.
we will each have ten pebbles to paint. five in one design and five in another.
While these are drying we will stitch a simple playing grid onto a hessian pouch.
This can also be used to store our playing pieces when the game is not in use.
( i will upload a photo of my example once it is complete. )
