They are beautiful, powerful and mystical. Tibetan bowls are types of bells crafted with excellent sound healing qualities, a secret that the Himalayas have been saving as a precious treasure throughout history.
Applying them on our body with easy techniques is beneficial for our health. They calm our mind, balance our nervous system, and harmonise our energy field.
When these unique bells are played, they release a wide diversity of overtones that promote relaxation, mental peace, and sleep. They may also invoke a deep meditation state, channeling our concentration and focus through sound.
During this Level 1 course, we will discover the basic aspects of Tibetan bowls and learn about their qualities for self-healing while practicing different techniques.
We will enjoy the following program:
• Origins and history of Tibetan bowls.
• An overview of bowl types and composition.
• Practice the ample diversity of techniques for playing.
• Self-healing with a bowl: an easy and healthy way.
• Creation of a group sound bath with Tibetan bowls.
This course is accessible to anyone who wants to discover and experience the wonderful sound healing practice with Tibetan bowls, and dive into basic knowledge of these wise musical instruments. Whether you practice Yoga asana or meditation, make music, or simply want to learn more about the bowls. No music, or Yoga experience is required.
The session is the first chapter, and a door to Level 2, where we navigate into a deep and comprehensive practice and learning about the therapeutic use of Tibetan Bowls.
Students will be provided with a manual with information and space to take notes. Also different types of Tibetan bowls will be available for the learning practices.

About Santiago:
• An experienced musician for more than 25 years with education and knowledge in classical and modern music from different traditions. Music producer, Dj and former pianist.
• Focused on individual healing treatments with sound, workshop and course coordination, and sound educational activities.
• Former collaborator at Svaram Sound Experience (India), where he studied deeply the therapeutic role of sound on health and wellbeing within their sound healing programs, as well as cooperating on sound education projects.
• Also qualified and with professional experience in Gong, Thai and Ayurvedic Massage, and Reiki, in India and Thailand.
• Project Manager Professional with an ample background, which adds quality manners to his activities.
• A believer in the connection between tradition and the contemporary world, with the mission of being a channel for people to experience wellbeing and meditative states through sound.
