North Park is a small neighborhood on Chicago’s far North Side with a proud history, an active community, and a deep diversity of ethnicities, incomes, and ages. We think it’s truly a special place.

The vision of the NPCM is to create a focal point for the North Park neighborhood — a way to bring people together and give neighbors more opportunities to meet each other and break bread.

The North Park Community Market brings fresh food from local farms, prepared foods (to enjoy at our communal picnic tables), a dynamic line-up of musical entertainment, creative activities for children, and a venue to highlight artisans, local businesses and non-profits.

This is a loving and inclusive event, so The Insect Asylum is bringing our worm dig and setting up a table to share in the warmth of our friends and allies. Show you care, say hello and let the kiddos enjoy digging for worms and learning about the insect friends in your garden.

The North Park Community Market is located in the parking lot at Peterson Elementary School, 5515 N. Kimball Avenue.
