Victoria BC Ska and Reggae Society presents:Our goal is to entertain, educate and unite audiences nationally and internationally through the artistic development of ska, reggae and other Jamaican rooted genres such as rocksteady, dub and dancehall, hip hop, Latin music, soul, jazz and world beat. We'll be inviting musicians to partake in a wild mashup of all these genres and more with the intention of further developing the Victoria music scene.
Hosting the evening will be Ghozt Walka. An independent dancehall/reggae/soul artist with a tight backing band featuring crunching guitar, driving bass and textured drums. On top of a charismatic stage energy and voice suited for a multitude of genres, Ghozt Walka also plays keys with the same passion and energy he brings to every performance.
