Award winning jazz vocalist Kelly MacKenzie-Thurley has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Australia and the United Kingdom.
She is currently the Director of the Northern Kentucky University Vocal Jazz Ensemble and is on the faculty of School for Creative & Performing Arts in Cincinnati, and in 2021 Kelly was chosen as the Jazz Ambassador for the Cincinnati-Nancy Sister Jazz Initiative in Nancy, France. Kelly can be seen at regional festivals and outstanding local jazz venues, performing regularly with Erwin Stuckey, the Phil DeGreg Trio, the Cincinnati Contemporary Jazz Orchestra and most recently fronting her new Brazilian combo, Batucada.
