Just a bar, everyone single. Because the world in 2025 is all about meeting IRL, not on dating apps!We’re back at the Whiskey Girl but doing things a little different this time! Join us for a night of connection and matches using Matchbox Matchmaking! This event is for our singles under the age of 35 and you won't want to miss it!
🌟 When: Thursday, March 12th at 6:30pm!
💖 Where: Whiskey Girl
✨ Tickets: Early Bird: $20 || General Admission: $23 || On-the-door (aka at the event): $30
Upon arrival head up to event entrance where your San Diego host will be there to greet you, scan your ticket and get you checked in! You will then be directed to complete the matchmaking questionnaire built by Matchbox's team of relationship scientists. Once completed, you can head inside and get to yappin'! Matches will be revealed later into the event via text! Please refer to the event structure below
Reminder: This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time!
6:30pm—the event begins!
8:00pm— "doors close" & algorithm begins computing matches -- all ticket holders must arrive and complete questionnaire in order to participate!
8:10pm— 1st round of clues are revealed via text (find your group and mingle!)
8:20pm— 2nd round of clues are revealed (via text)
8:30pm—matches revealed via text (finally!)
9:00pm—event concludes & live band karaoke begins!
Keep in Mind:
The matching process is highly intentional—come with an open mind!
If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.
What if I don't get a match? We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. In the event of no match, people receive a comp'd ticket to a future event, valid for 60 days after this event.**Once we are at venue-capacity, singles will be allowed in on a 1 in 1 out basis**
