Deep Country Dream (Matt Lundquist)
Matt Lundquist is a “folkslinger” with a big Gibson Jumbo acoustic and a few hundred original songs. For the last 30 years he’s been traveling to funky little towns and national forests, swapping tunes with beatnik songwriters around the campfire and singing about the joys of simple living. He gathers inspiration from lost roads, deep woods, swimming holes and good people and dogs everywhere.
In 2022 he won the John Hartford Memorial Festival Songwriter Contest, and he has organized local all-star tributes for Hank Williams, Gram Parsons, Waylon Jennings, the Grateful Dead, and Tom Petty.
