Matching at this event will be powered by Matchbox. It’s a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the party. The algorithm has matched more than half a million people to date, across 40 countries. It optimizes for long-term compatibility, based on values—but it’s up to you to see if you’ll click.
How it works:
Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox's team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.
The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics.
After mingling with the whole group, matches are revealed!
What to expect:
The matching process is highly intentional—come with an open mind.
If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.

This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time.
7:00pm—The event begins and bar opens8:30pm—The Algorithm begins computing matches9:00pm—A series of clues are sent out. Anyone arriving later than 9 pm will no longer be able to participate in the Matchbox pairing.9:15pm—Matches revealed!!11:00pm—Event concludes

Q: How does The Algorithm work?
A: The Matchbox Algorithm is designed to match you with someone you’re compatible with deep down. It’s up to you to see if you click. But if you do, the long term is taken care of. The Algorithm will give you your best match at the event—subject to everyone else also needing to get exactly one match.
Q: What if I don't get a match?
A: We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically.
Venue is dog friendly so feel free to bring your pups!
