Join us at the Athens Municipal Airport for the first annual Thunder Over East Texas Air Show! This will be the exact same popular show flown over Cedar Creek Lake except you can enjoy the static displays, close-up flying action, food trucks, or even bring your own food! The show will feature spectacular demonstration by the USAF's 5th generation fighter, the F-35A Lightning! Watch CCVF Founder Randy Ball fly his vintage MiG-17 along with the incredible sight of two additional MiGs joining him for a special performance.
"Devil Dog" a USMC B-25 will also add some rumble to the skies with the CAF "Little Raider" and SNJ not only flying but offering rides in these vintage warbirds. The NextGen Eagles will sky dance over the airport with their colorful two-plane Christian Eagles.
