Thugshop Presents – Curses [Next Wave Acid Punx]

Join us, 12 September, as the night carries on from the Warehouse to Tuff Club for the official Warehouse afterparty, with Berlin-based musician and DJ Curses taking control.

Known for threading the nostalgia of New Wave, Italo Disco and Post-punk through heavy-hitting body music, Proto-House and flashes of live, ghostly vocals, Curses brings a dark and romantic energy to the dancefloor. His sets move between eras without losing their pulse — cinematic, punk-driven and always built around storytelling.

His latest album, Another Heaven, arrived via Italians Do It Better and was co-produced by Johnny Jewel, adding to a catalogue that spans Innervisions, Running Back, Bordello A Parigi, Oráculo and Wrong Era. Beyond releases and appearances at institutions such as DC-10, Nuits Sonores and Grauzone, Curses is also the mind behind the acclaimed Next Wave Acid Punx compilation and party series, digging deep into New Beat, Body Musik, Post-punk and proto-trance sounds.

Supporting him on the night are Halis and Kevin Sy.
