Join us for Glad Radio's new monthly acoustic session, on the last Sunday afternoon of the month.
From 3:30pm to 6:00pm on Sunday 31st May, we'll have sets by Miwa Nagato-Apthorp and Lainey Dempsey.
Miwa Nagato-Apthorp is one of Scotland's brightest new talents. Based in the Borders, her songwriting draws on folk traditions to explore multicultural understandings of history, climate, womanhood and home.

Lainey Dempsey is a folk singer who writes and sings about rebels, underdogs, the supernatural and the broken hearted. Her unaccompanied voice creates an intimacy and a human connection that invites audiences to travel with her into the stories of the songs she sings.

This is a family-friendly afternoon show. Alcoholic drinks will not be available, but you will be able to buy soft drinks and snacks.
The Deep End is an arts space and social enterprise developed by Govanhill Baths Community Trust, where Glad Radio, a community podcasting charity, has its studio.
