Throwing with Kev Valentine's Day Edition

When a Potter marries a Florist, it only makes sense for them to host a Ghost-style throwing class at their flower shop for Valentine's Day!

This two-part workshop is taught by the Co-Owner and lead Potter of Poppy + Pot, Kevin (with the assistance of his wife, Da'Reen)! It's intended for those that want to try throwing on the wheel with no experience necessary. Join us for a romantic evening of pottery, laughter, light refreshments and a little wine with your boo! During this workshop, you'll learn to throw a bowl on the wheel with the assistance of your partner and then you'll return at a later date to glaze your masterpiece. Will you also be surrounded by flowers? Of course! This class is the perfect date night and Valentine's Day kickoff!

Tickets are sold per couple (one ticket= 2 people)

Part One: Throwing on the wheel
Friday, February 13th . 6-8pm

Part Two: Glazing
Once your pottery has been fired in the kiln, you'll be notified that they are ready to be glazed. You can return any Sunday between 10-4pm, and paint your pottery using various different glazes and application methods in a more self driven, laid back atmosphere.

Once glazed, pottery will be fired in the kiln one more time to complete the process. The second firing can take anywhere between 2-4 weeks. You'll be notified when your pottery is finished and ready for pickup.
