Throwing with Kev Valentine's Day Edition

When a Potter marries a Florist, it only makes sense for them to host a Ghost-style throwing class at their flower shop for Valentine's Day!

This two-part workshop is taught by the Co-Owner and lead Potter of Poppy + Pot, Kevin (with the assistance of his wife, Da'Reen)! It's intended for those that want to try throwing on the wheel with no experience necessary. Join us for a romantic evening of pottery, laughter, light refreshments and a little wine with your boo! During this workshop, you'll learn to throw a bowl on the wheel with the assistance of your partner and then you'll return at a later date to glaze your masterpiece. Will you also be surrounded by flowers? Of course! This class is the perfect date night and Valentine's Day kickoff!

Tickets are sold per couple (one ticket= 2 people)

Part One: Throwing on the wheel
Friday, February 7th . 6-8pm

Part Two: Glazing
Students choose date to return at Part One

When students arrive to the glaze day, students will be given an information sheet with their pots, as well as an assortment of glaze options and brushes/tools. They then have the whole class to glaze at their own pace. Students can pick up their finished pieces shortly after the glaze workshop, Kev will specify the date then.
