Throwing, tiles and pressmoulds: half day workshop

This half day workshop is ideal for complete (adult) beginners. Fiona and Chris will show you how to make a unique dish using our studio pressmoulds, and a selection of hand made tiles. These can be decorated using coloured slips, and exploring mark making, pattern and texture on the surface. Everyone will make a pot on the wheel, and Chris will take you through all the basics of centering, hollowing out and forming your small bowl or cup. These will be finished, glazed and fired for you.

We give everyone lots of hands-on support, and all tools, materials, and preparation is included. We have aprons you can use.

Everything will be ready to collect about 3-4 weeks later; just get in touch to arrange a day/rough time.
