Hawk & Steel
Hawk & Steel are a Canadian alt-country/indie rock band who fuse Americana textures with expansive, rugged tones from the West Coast of British Columbia. Formed in Victoria in the early 2010s, the group quickly gained momentum for their honest songwriting and thunderous, emotionally charged performances. Frequent gigging quickly earned them a reputation as dive-bar warriors and festival standouts.After stepping away in 2017 for a near decade-long hiatus, the band has returned recharged with their first new music in more than a decade. Their third full-length album “Ain’t Never Movin’ On”, marks a new chapter. Featuring ten new songs, Hawk & Steel captures the restless spirit of their earlier work with a deeper, more reflective edge and mature voice.
