You're Invited: Through Their Eyes – The Dementia Experience

Join us for an interactive experience designed to help participants better understand what it may feel like to live with dementia.

This immersive tour will guide you through a series of activities that simulate some of the sensory, cognitive, and physical challenges individuals with dementia may experience in everyday life. The aim is to build empathy, awareness, and understanding - helping you to make more well informed specification decisions.

Participants will move through the experience in small groups of up to three people, helping to create a more personal and reflective environment. Time slots begin every 15 minutes, and the full experience lasts approximately 60 minutes.

During the session, participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a themed mood board activity and friendly competition, encouraging creativity and reflection on the experience. Light snacks and refreshments will be available, giving everyone a chance to relax, talk, and share their thoughts.

Come along to gain a deeper insight into dementia and learn how small changes in awareness can make a big difference in supporting those living with the condition.
