Through Our Eyes Youth Art Exhibition + Celebration
Through Our Eyes: Youth Art Exhibition + Celebration is a community-centered exhibition presented by The Children’s Gallery Chicago x SZNL Chicago, celebrating artwork created by young artists from TCGC’s free West Side summer art camp across North Lawndale, Garfield Park, Humboldt Park, and Pilsen.
The exhibition will feature youth-created paintings, drawings, sculpture, mixed media, writing, zines, and reflections rooted in identity, imagination, neighborhood, belonging, and possibility. This is a non-juried youth exhibition, meaning young artists are not competing for visibility; they are being invited into it.
Join us for the opening celebration on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 2:00–6:00 PM at SZNL Chicago Art Gallery in Pilsen. Families, friends, community leaders, artists, neighbors, sponsors, and supporters are invited to gather around the work of young people and celebrate their creativity in a professional gallery setting.
Come experience the worlds our young artists have made and help us honor their voices, stories, and visions for the city.
