Thriving Through the Holidays: Navigating Separation & Divorce
About this Event
The holidays can feel really different when you're going through a separation or divorce.
Maybe this is your first holiday season without your spouse. Maybe you're preparing to spend the holidays without your kids for the first time. Or maybe you're trying to figure out which traditions you want to keep, what you want to let go of, and what the holidays are even supposed to look like now.
There can be a lot of mixed feelings. You might be excited about doing things differently while also grieving how things used to be. And sometimes it's hard to explain all of that to people who haven't been through it.
That's why we're getting together!
We're excited to bring back our second annual Thriving Through the Holidays workshop!
Join divorce coach Shauna Warden and divorce therapist Brittany Deutch for an afternoon of conversation, practical tools, and creative exploration as we prepare for the holiday season.
What We'll Explore
- Managing holiday stress and expectations: Navigating the pressure to make everything feel normal or perfect when so much has changed.
- Boundaries and communication: Figuring out how to communicate your needs and navigate changing family dynamics.
- Traditions and expectations: Exploring what you want to carry forward, what you might be ready to leave behind, and what you want this year's holidays to look like.
- Creative reflection: Through guided visualization and an art-based activity, we'll explore how you want to feel as you move through this holiday season.
We'll also have time to share, connect, and hear from other women who understand what it's like to navigate the holidays after separation or divorce.
No art experience necessary! This isn't about making something pretty. It's about giving yourself some space to reflect, explore, and maybe see things a little differently.
Who Is This Workshop For?
Women who are separated, going through a divorce, or adjusting to life afterward.
Whether this is your first holiday season doing things differently or you've been navigating this for a while, you're welcome.
You don't need to have anything figured out before you come.
