Thrive with 10-35 Luncheon, with Special Guests

Join Thrive with 10-35 as they host a luncheon on Sunday, September 25 at the Cold Springs Golf Course with special guest speakers Scott and Liz Brown.

“Deputy Scott Brown

Author Scott Brown has been a deputy with the Sacramento Sheriff’s Office since 2002. In that time, he worked the J*il and patrol, was a member of the POP Team, CERT Team for the J*il, a Custody Training Officer, and a Field Training Officer. He has worked as a detective in the property crimes unit, was in charge of the bait property program, and was on the Animal Cruelty Task Force. He is a Silver Star of Gallantry recipient.

Liz Brown

Liz met Scott in college and were college sweethearts. Married many years later in 2004. They have three growing and active boys and are very involved in the Placer County area community. Liz is the Director & Founder of the Sacramento Sheriff ‘s Office Spouses’ and Family Association.

On October 24, 2014, Scott was involved in a several hour and highly publicized shooting that claimed the life of their friend and partner, Deputy Danny Oliver, and several hours later, Detective Michael Davis Jr. That incident proved to be a pivotal moment for Scott and his wife, Liz.”
