Location: Fountaindale Public Library: Meeting Room A
THRIVE gathers survivors, artists, writers, and truth-tellers for an afternoon centered on healing, creativity, and connection.
Join local author Pat Green, local Activist Allaina Humphries, Ashara, Guardian Angel and a community of powerful voices for the premiere of the very first issue of the THRIVE & Survive Zine: First Aid — a survivor-created zine exploring the art, stories, poetry, music, and creative tools that help people survive difficult moments and keep moving forward.
Together, we will explore healing through storytelling, art, conversation, and shared experience. This event is about reclaiming voice, rewriting the story, and learning how to thrive instead of merely surviving.
The afternoon will include:
• Live readings and short presentations
• Interactive creative experiences
• Community connection and shared space
• Real conversations about survival and healing
• Fundraising for local organizations supporting survivors
THRIVE is a trauma-informed creative space inspired by the Hearts of Glass series and built around the belief that stories, art, and human connection matter.
All are welcome.
