Thrive Street Choir is a community organization that was born to sing the music of the revolution. We sing at public progressive actions and turn the street into the choir! Song circles are one of our favorite ways to build community and teach one another the music we can bring to future actions. Join us, whether you consider yourself a musician/activist or not. We will be teaching songs and giving tips for how to song-lead effectively. You will come away having new inspiring music in your toolbelt. Feel free to bring instruments as well!This event is sliding scale $0-$36. If you’re able to register at the higher end of the scale, your contribution will directly support the work of this month’s featured organization.
Part of the proceeds from this event will be sent to Deep Medicine Circle, a nonprofit organization dedicated to repairing critical relationships that have been fractured through colonialism. Starting from a place of correcting relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, they cultivate a culture of care to support the health and healing of people and communities of plants and animals which are critical for our survival and thriving.
This event is outside, in a covered tent, protected from the rain. People can be seated and socially distanced.

This event will take place outdoors. Masks will be required at all times for all guests. Please stay home if you experience any COVID symptoms within 24 hours prior to the event.
Urban Adamah’s campus is fully compliant with ADA guidelines and all parts of the program will be held in either our covered, outdoor tent or fully outdoor event spaces. Please refrain from wearing fragrances or perfumes while onsite, unscented soaps are available in the public bathrooms. Parking in our lot is limited so if you do not need accessible parking, please consider arriving early to find street parking, carpooling with friends, or taking public transportation!
