About this Event
Are you a parent or caregiver of a neurodivergent child and feeling uncertain about the journey ahead? Looking for support and connections within your community? Join us at a monthly Thrive Parents meet-up!
This month we will be preparing ourselves for the month ahead. The holiday season can bring joy, but it can also disrupt routines and heighten stress. Occupational Therapist Hina Mahmood will join us to share practical tools and strategies for keeping everyone regulated and supported during the holiday break. With her guidance you’ll leave with concrete ideas, activities, and a sense of encouragement. Snacks, fidget and calming toys will be available throughout the evening to support your comfort. The session also includes time for connection, questions, and conversation with fellow parents.
A dedicated time just for parents and caregivers – a quiet, kid-free space to share and connect.
Special Guest this month
Hina Mahmood (she/her) is the Senior Occupational Therapist at the Down Syndrome Resource Foundation. She is passionate about supporting individuals with diverse needs, bringing expertise in feeding, independence, and executive functioning.
