Come and see the beautiful hand-painted wall mural at The Green Table, created by the artist and illustrator Alison Conway. The mural will be home to an array of hand-painted birds that will be created by children taking part in our painting workshops.
There is something magical about the work of illustrator and graphic designer and animator Ali Conway. She graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University and has spent her time creating everything from funny fruit characters to cheeky dinosaurs, capturing children’s imaginations along the way. Ali’s drawings are often inspired by animals, food and a playful sense of colour. Perhaps that’s down to her time spent living in a narrow boat on the canal and a smallholding in France or helping to take care of 30 bee hives!
Her work has a funky illustrative style with a folky modern twist.
