Thresholds: Building a Miniature World Between Pages
About this Event
Beginning with a handcrafted architectural structure, each participant will transform their book nook into a richly detailed miniature world using paint, decorative trims, texture, moss, branches, flowers, relics, bones, curiosities and other collected treasures.
Some may become forgotten gardens. Others may emerge as haunted studies, witch's cabinets, hidden shrines, abandoned sanctuaries, or places that exist only in your imagination. Through guided instruction and creative exploration, you'll learn how to use objects, composition and texture to tell a story in miniature.
Every participant will begin with the same base structure and leave with a completely unique finished piece.
