Our Friday, March 15 concert will bring something new and exciting to the Three Jolly Coachmen's Coffee House: A Jazz Jam, featuring one of Tidewater's premier jazz combos, The Tony Mata Trio. In addition to great jazz played by the headlining performer, a "jam" also features soloists who are invited to sit in with the group to play along with a number or two. Tony specializes in jazz jam sessions, so it promises to be a very entertaining evening!
As is our custom, a portion of ticket sales and 100 percent of all drink donations will be given to support a local charity. For our March 15 concert, we are pleased to partner with the local chapter of Faith in Action, a servant, donor- based community that provides volunteer-based support services for seniors so they are able to age independently in their own homes.
We also invite local artists to our concert to display some of their work. We are honored to have Williamsburg-area artist Elaine Napoda, who specializes in wildlife art, joining us for our March concert.
As has been the case for recent concerts, many seats already have been reserved and we anticipate an early sellout. We hope you will join us for our first-ever Jazz Jam, where you can sit in and play if you wish, or just come, chill and enjoy the Coffee House vibe!
