Thredz.org 3rd Annual House Party to Homeownership: Panel & Expo

Welcome to the Neighborhood! Thredz House Party 3, presented by Huntington Bank, brings the community together for an engaging event focused on building wealth through homeownership.

Inspired by the spirit of the classic House Party films, this event connects community members with lenders, housing professionals, and local organizations to share knowledge, resources, and real pathways toward owning a home.

Event Schedule

11:00 AM – Doors Open

Guests arrive, network, and get settled before the program begins.

12:00 PM – 2:30 PM | Community Panel Discussion

Our panel will focus on Building Wealth Through Homeownership, featuring conversations on:

    •    Debunking homeownership myths and misconceptions

    •    Understanding credit scores, financial literacy, and wealth creation

    •    Explaining mortgage pre-qualification basics, down payments, and pathways to homeownership programs

2:30 PM – 4:30 PM | Housing Expo & Pre-Qualification Sessions

Following the panel, guests can participate in two opportunities designed to support their homeownership journey.

1:1 Mortgage Counseling Sessions

Meet individually with mortgage professionals to explore your options for owning a home. These sessions include:

    •    A soft credit pull

    •    A free 1–15 credit improvement plan

    •    Guidance on next steps toward homeownership

Participants who complete a 1:1 pre-qualification session will receive a $20 gift card.

Housing Resource Expo

Connect with local banks, housing professionals, and community organizations offering services and programs that support your path to homeownership.

Lunch will be served during the expo and 1:1 sessions by Kuntry Cooking.
