Threads of Hope
Threads of Hope is Lilac Rising’s signature fundraising event, bringing together fashion, community, and purpose for an elegant Kentucky Derby–inspired afternoon.
This spring style show features local boutiques on the runway, thoughtfully curated food and beverages, and a celebration of women rising through opportunity, support, and connection. Every detail is designed to create a meaningful experience while directly supporting Lilac Rising’s mission.
What to Expect
Guests will enjoy a high tea–style luncheon served at beautifully set tables, complete with savory bites, sweet treats, and bubbles. Each table includes a bottle of Prosecco and Rosé, and every guest receives a drink ticket for the signature Oaks Lily cocktail, along with coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
The afternoon also includes a professionally produced style show featuring local boutiques, plus a magazine-style event program with QR codes to explore and shop featured looks.
Derby Day Style
Derby hats and attire are encouraged. As part of the festivities, the Lilac Rising Board will select five Best Dressed Derby Attire finalists. Guests will then vote for the winner through donation-based voting, adding a fun and interactive element that supports the cause.
