Threaded: A Rope & Relating Experience
Advertisement
*Come play!*
Are you curious about shibari (the art of Japanese rope binding) but not interested in going to a dungeon to try it out?
Do you wish you could create more depth in your connections and meet like-minded people but not sure where the cool kids are these days?
You belong with us!
*Threaded is back with our new Singles Edition!*
We are mixing rope play with facilitated connection games in this one of a kind experiential workshop where you’ll have a chance to learn a new skill (ropes) and practice with a variety of people.
-Non threatening environment!
-No long, boring lectures!
-New exercises & games!
In a world of increasing disconnection, let’s be human together – messy, a little wild, imperfect, and actually in the room with each other.
Threaded is a guided experience where you learn basic rope techniques alongside relational and somatic practices designed to help you
-Express boundaries and desires
-Explore what feels edgy safely and creatively
-Attune to your partner’s body & nonverbal signals
-Dance between control, trust, and letting go
------------------------------------------------------------------
*What to Expect*
-Basic rope techniques and safety principles - no experience necessary
-Communication exercises
-Body based connection games
-Community hang and potluck
Rather than focusing on rope as a technical skill alone, we’ll explore how it becomes a practice in relationship, trust, and presence.
------------------------------------------------------------------
*Who This Is For*
Adults who are:
• Curious about rope and deeper relating
• Open to body based exploration … aka not just listening to a
lecture!
