THP Hangouts -Connect. Create. Move.

Come as you are with no pressure, no prep & no supplies needed. A fun monthly hangout for teen girls to relax, move a little, get creative, and make friends.

What is THP Hangouts?

THP Hangouts are low-pressure, monthly meetups for teen girls where connection, creativity, and movement come together. Each session blends a simple creative activity, some playful movement (to strengthen inner & outer), and space for real conversation, all in a warm, welcoming place where the group gets to shape what comes next. No skills, no supplies, no performance - just bring yourself.

What’s in it for teen girls:

• A fun, no-pressure hangout with other great girls.
• An everyone-friendly creative activity (no skills or supplies needed).
• A playful movement activity (designed to build inner + outer strength).
• Space to connect, try new things, and form friendships in a safe, encouraging environment.

Bonus for teens: a take-home "pocket" reminder of the wellness habits you are developing & a celebration of your growth (and to share with friends if you want).

What’s in it for parents:

• Peace of mind: your teen is building confidence, connection, and resilience in a safe group environment.

Self-image • Self-talk • Healthy relationships • Boundaries • Self-esteem • Confidence • Nutrition & mental wellness • Gratitude & goal-setting- and more. The group helps choose future themes so the Hangouts stay relevant and fun.

Logistics THP Hangouts

• When: Saturday April 11th • 12:00 – 1:30 pm
• Where: Meet outside Social Grounds Oakridge 3109 Palliser Dr SW #11. Weather permitting we’ll move to the green space behind the building.
• What to bring: layers for changing weather, a water bottle, and your wonderful self. We’ll provide the rest.
• Parents: feel free to grab a coffee/snack at Social Grounds while you wait nearby.

A few notes

• Group is theirs to own, we encourage input, creativity, and leadership from the girls.
• All abilities welcome. No prior experience required.
• Safe, supervised, and designed to be fun.
