On Sunday, 3:00 PM Pacific Time, at Seattle Rainbow Temple, True Buddha School Dharma King Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu will preside over a Thousand-armed Thousand-eyed Guanyin Homa Ceremony, discourse Surangama Sutra, and bestow empowerment for Thousand-armed Thousand-eyed Guanyin Uncommon Practice.
Among all the bodhisattvas, Thousand-armed Thousand-eyed Guanyin is an 11th stage bodhisattva. This is a stage of marvelous enlightenment, that is, Buddhahood. Guanyin is herself the Tathagata Who Knows the True Dharma.
Thousand-armed Thousand-eyed Guanyin is the integration of Amitabha and Avalokitesvara. Of all the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattvas, Thousand-armed Thousand-eyed Guanyin is the most powerful. Furthermore, all Avalokitesvara Bodhisattvas are Padmakumaras.
Many benefits arise from cultivation of Thousand-armed Thousand-eyed Guanyin Practice:
1,Vast and perfect
2,Unhindered with great compassion
3,Relieving bitterness and difficulties
4,Health and longevity
5,Eradication of evil paths
6,Prolonging life span
7,Fulfilling wishes of sentient beings
8,Free and unhindered
9,Annihilating negative karma
10,Quickly transcending to higher realms
Afterwards, Grandmaster will answer Q&A and discourse the dharma.
