Thorncombe Wood Roman Road Walk

Join Claire, the Thorncombe Ranger, and Steve, the Archaeologist, for a guided walk along the Roman Road through Thorncombe Wood Local Nature Reserve, just outside Dorchester. This informative walk will bring to life the heritage the reserve conserves and provides an insight into the wildlife whom make it their home. The walk extends onto neighbouring Duddle Heath, to Rainbarrows, a collection of bronze aged tumuli and a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape.

The walk involves a steep incline.

Please bring refreshments as the café will be closed.

Parking is a 'pay when you leave' system.
