Thorgy Thor and the Thorchestra are coming to Rochester! Thorgy Thor shot to international fame after appearing on season eight of RuPaul’s Drag Race (2016) and season three of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars (2018). Since then, she has been traveling the world, bringing to audiences her trademark wit, sense of humor, and musical charm.
Thorgy Thor is a classically trained violinist who has performed with the Boston Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, Seattle Symphony, and Oregon Symphony. Senator Jeremy Cooney secured $30,000 to help bring Thorgy Thor to Rochester.
Tickets are also available for a VIP event prior to the concert, which will take place at The Duke (232 East Main Street) from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on February 13. Tickets include a Meet and Greet with Thorgy during the first hour, an open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and a chance to meet other local drag queens.
