WILD DEER return to THORESBY PARK, Newark, on Saturday 12th April 2025 for The Thoresby Park Longhorn Running Event
We are delighted to be back Trail Running @Thoresby and will again be hosting a 5k, 10k & 1/2 Marathon.
There will also be seperate CANICROSS starts for those running with their 4-legged friendS.
The 5k is for anyone over 11 years, the 10k and 1/2 marathon are for anyone over 15 years.
Thoresby Park has been in the Pierrepont Family for over 400 years and is home to a stunning 17th-century mansion, a world-renowned art collection, and over 1,000 acres of fabulous parkland. There's also some Wild Deer as well as the famous long-horned cattle giving the Event it's name, THE LONGHORN.
Ideal for runners of all fitness levels the Estate is fairly flat so the 5k & 10k will suit first timers to trail running or those wanting a step up from Parkrun.
Nordic Walkers are more than welcome at our event.
All Finishers will be rewarded with Wild Deer Merchandise (socks, buff or coffee tumbler), a Medal, snack and a soft drink.
There is the option to purchase an Event T-Shirt for £12 when you sign up.
Parking is just £3 per vehicle so car share wherever you can.
