This Might Hurt A Little: Open Mic
About this Event
This Might Hurt a Little is a live storytelling night built around a simple, risky idea: people reading short letters they were never meant to share. Now, it's YOUR TURN!
You've been writing it in your head for years. Now it's time read it out loud.
Bring a short letter you were never supposed to share: to your 19-year-old self, the ex who ghosted you, or your terrible boss. Funny, furious, heartbreaking, petty. All of it belongs here.
Put your name in the when you arrive. Ten names get drawn. Get picked and the mic is yours for up to 5 minutes.
No experience needed. Just a little honesty & a lot of courage.
Only at The Bird.
