"Somehow the most compelling piece of theatre I've seen" - Vice Australia. This Might Get Weird was a late-night comedy staple at The Wine Cellar (RIP) and is now coming to Onehunga for the first time!
An ensemble of talented improvisers from across Tāmaki Makaurau navigate the uncharted seas of improv! Four directors take turns steering, but it’s the audience who controls the show’s direction in this high-stakes experiment of improvisation.
You’ll see our directors riff up a storm of comedy scenes for your entertainment and joy in Act 1.. Then, when the dust settles, one improviser is bestowed the honour and responsibility of directing the Act 2 ensemble in whatever theatrical experiment would delight them and the audience that chose them.

This show is part of the Auckland Improv Marathon 2024, a joyous celebration of improvised theatre featuring performers and tutors from all over NZ and the world.
For just over 24 hours, Factory Theatre and Kete Aronui in Onehunga will be filled with workshops and shows to entertain, educate, inspire and intrigue.
