She made history when she achieved her dream of being the first woman to co-anchor the CBS Evening News and the first Asian American to anchor any news program in the US.

Reporter Connie Chung was was the first woman to coanchor the flagship news broadcast CBS Evening News. Connie was only the second woman to anchor any network evening broadcast in television history.
