THIS IS MY VOICE - The Music of Joel Balzun

The music of Joel Balzun (most recently seen onstage in POP's Don Bucefalo) has been described as "haunting and beautiful" and "a musical standout." Together with mezzo-soprano Max Potter, praised as a “ virtuoso singing actor,” this recital will offer the POP community the chance to get to know Joel's other musical side as a composer. Featured on this program will be songs commissioned by Lynx Project and a number of other singers, as well as a world premiere commissioned by Max, ranging from Shakespearean Cabaret Songs to music that explores life with autism.
