This Is Casually Happening (Gives Back!): A Comedy Showcase

On Wednesday, December 11th, the comedy showcase This Is Casually Happening will be returning to The Golden Hoosier. This will be a special edition of the show with a percentage of the proceeds being donated to the American Parkinson Disease Association: Missouri Chapter. The showcase was recently recognized in St. Louis Magazine for their November 2023 Issue alongside with other local showcases. Doors will open at 7pm, with the show beginning at 7:30pm.

Co-headlining the show will be comedians Chris Cyr and JC Sibala, both seasoned comedians in the St. Louis comedy circuit. Both have been seen at Helium Comedy Club St. Louis and the Funny Bone, with Cyr having his own album produced by Helium Records, and Sibala recently releasing his comedy special, 'Vanillapino.'

Featuring on the showcase are comedians Kate Barton and Clay Beyersdorfer. Barton is a comedian, film producer and writer, as well as a mom. Beyersdorfer is a veteran and sports writer. Both have performed at local comedy clubs and independent venues in St. Louis.

Mollie Amburgey is the producer of the show and host of the podcast Casually Mollie, which includes interviews with comedians and entertainers both locally and around the country. She just performed in the Middle Ground Comedy Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana. You may have heard her interviewed on the Big 550 KTRS and St. Louis On The Air with St. Louis Public Radio when discussing St. Louis Comedy!
