Join us at the Montgomery College Food Forest for our regular work parties, which take place on the first Saturday of every month. Come and help transplant, sow, harvest, prune, mulch, W**d, water and whatever else needs doing.
Where: Montgomery College Food Forest, 7719 Chicago Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, 20910
When: First Saturday of every month (August 2nd, September 6th, October 4th, November 1st)
What to bring: water bottle and gardening gloves if you have them (we have spare gloves and there’s a water fountain in a nearby building if you can’t bring a water bottle).
Transport: there is metered street parking on Chicago Avenue. There are also bus stops immediately adjacent to the food forest, on Philadelphia Avenue. Ride On Route 17 and Route F4 both stop at this location.
