Join us for December’s Third Thursday Trip to the National Galleries of Scotland: Modern One, where we’ll visit the exhibition ARTIST ROOMS: Louise Bourgeois | Helen Chadwick | Robert Mapplethorpe.
Discover three of the biggest names in modern and contemporary art, whose impactful works explore self-expression, identity and the complexity of our inner lives. We’ll encounter Louise Bourgeois’s monumental three-metre-high Spider, Helen Chadwick’s playful installations and innovative light boxes, and Robert Mapplethorpe’s striking self-portraits.
This trip is open to all adults living in North Edinburgh Arts’ local area.

Thursday 18th December
10:15am – Meet at NEA to travel to Modern One together
10:30am – Meet at the bus stop ( TBC )
11:00am – Exhibition visit
1:00pm – LUNCH (café on site)
2:00–2:30pm – Travel back to NEA
