Third Thursday Special Edition: Hillyard Creative District Celebration

A free, family-friendly community event in Historic Hillyard.

For the past few months, Hillyard has been hosting Third Thursdays filled with art walks, live music, and creative experiences throughout our historic district.

This September, we’re taking it to the next level with a celebration of an incredible accomplishment for our community: Hillyard’s official designation as Spokane’s first Creative District.

The evening begins in the park with opening remarks and a community gathering to mark this milestone. From there, the celebration continues in true Third Thursdays style—with pop-up galleries, talented local musicians, interactive activities, and businesses hosting incredible creative talent.

This designation is not just a win for Hillyard—it’s a milestone for all of Greater Spokane. Everyone is invited to join, celebrate, and discover what this means for the future of arts, culture, and creativity in our region.
