On September 18th, 1970, visionary guitar player and musician Jimi Hendrix ascended into the stratosphere leaving behind a musical legacy that still resonates today.
Jimi Hendrix changed music forever.
56 years after his passing, tribute band Third Stone will present a evening of Hendrix classics from Purple Haze and Foxy Lady through to epics like Voodoo Child, Third Stone From The Sun and Little Wing.
Supporting the night is long running blues/rock band Big Tom's Blues Band, playing a set of originals from their upcoming debut album and carefully selected covers.
Both bands are led by guitarist and vocalist Jimmy Petkoff [also a member of internationally acclaimed Metal band Raven Black Night], Big Tom on bass/vocals and Adrian Burton on drums.
A night for lovers of guitar slinging and beyond, come join us in the stratosphere Friday September 18th.
