Third Saturday Sketch Outing: Alms Park

Join us for our third Saturday sketch outing to Alms Park! Located in Mt. Lookout, this park has some great views and pavilions.
From Cincy Parks website:
"The hilltop Frederick H. Alms Memorial Park, located in Mt. Lookout on Mt. Tusculum, offers a magnificent view of the Ohio River. This area was originally called “Bald Hill” because local Native Americans cleared the trees to have an unobstructed view of early settlers of “Columbia.” From its heights, one can see the juncture of the Little Miami River with the gigantic bend of the Ohio River, the hills of Kentucky, Lunken Airport, and the surrounding panoramic valleys. This park also features an imaginative play area, a picnic shelter that can be reserved, and a picturesque pavilion and overlook that can be rented for weddings and private events. The 99-acre park was given to the Park Board in 1916 as a memorial to Frederick H. by his wife. The land was once owned by Nicholas Longworth, who produced his Catawba wine there before the Civil War."
We'll meet at the entrance at 10am. Sketch throwdown at 11:45, location TBD.
Public restrooms are available on site.
