The Gainesville Clarinet Choir (GCC) is a multi-generational community ensemble ofpeople who enjoy playing clarinet and making music together. Our members come
from all walks of life and levels of playing experience and our ages range from teens
through 80+ years.
Our ensemble includes clarinets of various sizes, including E flat sopranino, B flat
soprano, alto, bass, and contrabass clarinets to create a rich blend of harmonies –
sometimes compared to the sound of an organ or vocal choir.
Our repertoire is varied and is designed to appeal to a wide audience. Our selections
range from classical and baroque to jazz and folk tunes and lots of things in between.
